I started my work on Der Stapel in 2014. I tied all my works together into a stack and began putting all the other work that I made on top of that and tied it again. Der Stapel is a way to visualize time. I use the A4 size, or cut or fold my bigger works to fit. In 2017, I began to tie, not only my drawings, paintings and other works on paper into stacks, but also meaningful objects, sheets of paper from my analog and digital mailbox, or screenshots and snapshots. I work on each Der Stapel until it reaches my own height, including the handles and wheels, and all parts are tightly bound together into a single unit.
